Greccio Remembered – presented by Br Philip Jeffares OFM
The final of the Franciscan Spirituality Series will focus on the 800th Anniversary of St Francis of Assisi setting up the first crib in Greccio, Italy, in 1223. By so vividly re-enacting the circumstance of the birth of Jesus Christ, Francis of Assisi calls us to contemplate the very mystery of God, the purpose of creation and humanity’s place in this context. By contemplating the Incarnation in this way we may better appreciate our mission as followers of Jesus Christ.
