The Saint Francis Retreat Centre is situated in three hectares of park-like grounds approximately 20 mins from Auckland International Airport. It provides opportunities for Retreats, Prayer Days, and conferences for Church and not-for-profit organisations.
About Us:
The Retreat Centre is a ministry of the Order of Friars Minor, brothers and priests following in the footsteps of St Francis of Assisi. It is open to many different faiths and groups for Retreats, Days of Prayer, Conferences, and Workshops.
We can sleep up to 39 people and while our accommodation is simple, it is comfortable and clean. We provide excellent home-cooked meals and can cater for common dietary requirements. Persons with severe food allergies are advised to cater for themselves. Please contact our venue manager to discuss.
The surrounding grounds provide a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere for retreats as well as seminars and workshops. The Centre is staffed by Franciscan Friars and dedicated lay people who carry on the Franciscan Spirit of hospitality.
