We offer a variety of meeting places



Conference Room can comfortably seat up to 35 people. This upstairs room is equipped with 3 fixed whiteboards, projector screen, data projector, TV,  and ceiling fans.

Fireplace Room can seat up to 25 people. In winter the open fire makes this room a popular choice.

Library can comfortably seat up to 12 people. (A portable whiteboard, overhead projector and CD player are available on request)

We also have data projectors, which can used in any of the meeting rooms.   

Please note there are no lifts in the building  



Bedrooms & Bathrooms:  All bedrooms are single rooms. Thirty-one are located upstairs and eight downstairs. There are three bathroom – two upstairs and one downstairs.

Chapel:  The Chapel can seat up to 50 people and is available as a sacred space for prayer, reflection and services.

Dining Room and Catering:  The Dining Room can comfortably seat up to 50 people. Full buffet style catering is provided, including vegetarian and special diets on request.

Wheelchair Access:  All downstairs rooms and facilities, including the bathroom, are wheelchair accessible. The distance between the downstairs bedrooms & bathroom is 25m.

Grounds:  The Retreat Centre is set within 3 hectares of well established trees, shrubs and lawn. There is direct access to neighbouring Monte Cecilia Park which provides more scope for walking in a park-like setting.

Location:  Saint Francis Retreat Centre is half-way between Auckland Airport and Auckland City Centre and just a short walk to local Three Kings and Royal Oak shopping centres.

 Group Weekend Rates (Residential)

Weekend:            Friday 5pm until Sunday 4pm                  $250 per person

Weekend:            Friday 7pm until Sunday 4pm                  $215 per person

Weekend:            Saturday 9am until Sunday 4pm               $180 per person

Group Weekday Rates (Residential)

Weekday:            (24 hours / Three meals)                          $125 per person

Day Rates (Non-Residential)

Full Day:              Lunch and evening meal provided            $90 per person

Day:                      BYO Lunch                                            $25 per person

Please note that a non-refundable deposit is required before a group booking is confirmed.

All Income derived from these charges goes towards the immediate and long term running costs of St Francis Retreat Centre which operates on a not-for-profit basis. These charges are subsidised by the generosity of benefactors, living and deceased, and by the voluntary labour of the Franciscan friars and their many helpers throughout the seventy five years of its service.
