Conversion is a constant renewal in a spirit of fraternity and humility. Franciscan conversion is characterised by joy in creation, forgiveness and reconciliation as much as by sorrow for sin, both personal and collective. St Francis saw his life as a pilgrimage of conversion following the footsteps of Jesus Christ.
