Invitation to the Book of Ruth retreat this July with Dr Alice Sinnott rsm.
Alice recently published an earth centred commentary on The Book of Ruth from the First Testament which gives a fresh outlook on the characters and context in this text. She has a PHD in Wisdom literature from the university of Oxford and lectured at the University of Auckland school of Theology.
The outline of the retreat follows:
- Friday evening 7pm – Settle in and introduction session
- Saturday full day with input sessions by Alice + reflection and creative responses. There will be personal reflection time as well opportunities to share. Evening – 5pm Mass, 6pm Dinner with closing at 7pm.
