Taize Prayer:  

Taize Prayer Evenings have been a tradition here at St Francis Retreat Centre since 1994. There was a small break from 2005-2007. They are held on the first Wednesday of each month at the Retreat Centre Chapel, beginning at 7.30pm. All people are welcome to this quiet time of prayer and reflection using the style developed by the brothers of the Taize community in France.  The services last an hour and include scripture as well as chants and silence.  For further information contact Fr Bernie at bernie@stfrancisretreatcentre.org.nz or 09 625 6651.
